With one more day gone the front-end gets an unplanned redesign, but with broken features, can the project be completed on time?
One more day has passed and yet today I had to make a difficult decision…
The original layout that I chose was a RTL layout (Rigth-To-Left). This meant that the navigation would be sitting on the right side of the screen. Unfortunately, There were a lot of errors that I unkowingly had to fix. So at the last minute, I switched to a scrollable dark layout in the original Left-To-Right (LTR) configuration. The layout looks great but now I have to redo a lot of the code that I was able to set into place the previous day. As heartbreaking as it was, at least a lot of the errors are now gone.
I began to add new links to the Projects, Tickets, Details, Notifications, etc. All of the functionality has come together to bring this project together. Next up, I have the security features to lock down as well as a little more work to do on Histories and Notifications.
A little more finalizing to go, then the job will become cosmetic..
…All of this with a quick vacation coming soon, not to mention Christmas and New Years'
